"Well crafted & thoughtful! Successfully blend[s] black comedy, lyricism & social critique."
"An absolute gem of a film! Keep an eye out for Amador - it is not to be missed."
Marcela, a young immigrant with financial troubles, finds a summer job looking after Amador, a bed-ridden elderly man whose family is away. She thinks her problems are solved, but Amador dies shortly thereafter, putting Marcela in a predicament. His death leaves her jobless, something she can't afford to let happen. Faced with a difficult moral dilemma, Marcela will prove that death can't always stop life.
Jeff in Seattle - Customer Review
A story of an immigrant woman who thinks she's making easy money looking after an invalid man. However, the man dies early in her job. What to do? Pretend he's still alive and keep him out of sight. No, this isn't "Weekend at Bernie's III". Despite the moral dilemna, I do like this film.
