It's tough top watch a film where you see children trying to make it on their own with no one to take care of them. Just when I though the story of the hardship was getting too dragged out, the story kicks in. Perfect timing. Tough film to watch, but a solid story, which is what I wanted.

I saw this film at the Flyway Film Festival in Pepin, Wisconsin. In a film festival it is possible to go from film to film, but this film moved me so that I needed to take the rest of the afternoon off to digest it and I didn't want to dilute the experience. Very well executed, well plotted, and extraordinary performances from the very young cast all in service of an important story.

Amazing movie. The children were perfectly believable and endearing in their roles. I hope this is not the last we see of them because they definitely have talent.
