Synopsis

Students at a University in Tokyo are about to start shooting their movie The Bored Murderer, as part of a film class. Everyone is in a rush to prepare for the shoot, but when the lead actor drops out suddenly, the team is forced to search for a last-minute replacement. Everyone seems to have their own personal problems with life and love, and the story unfolds "just like in the movies". The director’s nasty attitude toward his girlfriend, and the strange behavior of the mysterious Ikeda, who is to play the role of the murderer, only add to the confusion. To top things off, the one-time director, now professor Nakajo, is harboring a secret desire for the female student Rei. Everything comes to a head in an unexpected & tumultuous climax.
