Bethann Hardison was born in Brooklyn, New York and has enjoyed a successful creative career as a model, designer and fashion show producer as well as in public relations, writing and talent management. Her interest in film began at an early age when she traveled the globe as a top fashion model for some of the world's best-known designers and fashion houses. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of both the New York African Film Festival and has been a Director of the New York Women's Film Festival.
In 1984 she formed Bethann Management Co., Inc. to offer a personalized approach to talent management and career development. She has been instrumental in encouraging her clients to expand their careers by branching into other creative pursuits including music and film.
Currently, Bethann is involved with several creative projects in the worlds of film and television. In addition to having several film projects in various stages of development, she serves as co-executive producer of two upcoming television projects: Livin' Large and N'gear.
Bethann is widely recognized as one of the leading creative and motivational voices and has inspired legions of talented men and women of color to pursue careers in the arts and fashion. She has received numerous awards including the Distinguished Service Award from the Magic Johnson Foundation.
