Michael Bjornson

Production Designer Michael Bjornson completed his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of British Columbia and an Honours Diploma from Emily Carr College of Art & Design before adding film and television work to his busy schedule of activities.  His production credits include Lunch with Charles (Telefilm Canada), Judgment Day: The John List Story (Republic Pictures) and In Exile (North American Pictures). 

He has been the production designer on Mina Shum's two previous films, Drive, She Said (Beyond Films) and the critically acclaimed Double Happiness (Fine Line), as well as for the five part documentary, Dirty, Thirsty

He has extensive credits as a set designer and art director on MOW's, short films, documentaries and commercials.  In addition to his architecture practice, he is an exhibiting visual artist and runs an art gallery in Vancouver.
