"Silvio Soldini again crafts a handsome, well-considered relationship drama."
"Smoldering red hot chemistry! A marvelous little gem!"
– Daily Film Dose,
"It's a vicarious joy to watch the lovers suffer for their passion… Just as the lovers' meetings have a pleasant, naturalistic quality, the impending fallout feels like something softer than total disaster, in a modern way."
– The L Magazine,
Anna has everything she thought she could ever need: a respectable career, a caring family, and a loving partner, Alessio. But when she meets Domenico, a handsome, married waiter, her neatly ordered world begins to fall apart. They quickly fall into a heated affair, based on secret meetings, stolen caresses, cell phone fights, and endless lies. Anna's increasingly distant behavior goes unnoticed by Alessio, while Domenico's wife becomes steadily more suspicious of her husband. As the two lovers begin to fall deeper under the spell of passion, they are faced with a life-changing choice which neither is entirely prepared to make.

Compelling, real, honest and deeply passionate.

I was definitely looking forward to watch this film. I do believe that Silvio Soldini is an accomplished director. I came away mildly disappointed after viewing Come Undone. It was well done, but it offers nothing new or compelling to the effects of adultery. You won't get any new insights watching Come Undone. Just treat it mostly like a character study of two adults in a taboo situation.
