Thomas C. Grane
Thomas C. Grane has been a motion picture marketing executive for over 17 years. In 1989 he joined Twentieth Century Fox, where he created the promotional programming department. At Fox, he has directed over 75 behind-the-scenes television specials promoting the studio's theatrical releases, including Hot Shots Part Deux, a parody of Eleanor Coppola's documentary on the making of Apocalypse Now -- Hearts of Darkness, for HBO; a Moulin Rouge special, starring Nicole Kidman, which aired on ABC-TV; and an HBO special celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Star Wars and the release of the Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition. Grane's other notable credits are a documentary on Cast Away, featuring Tom Hanks, which aired on HBO; the FOX-TV special on X-Men, starring Bruce Davison; and most recently, the HBO First Look Special on Ice Age, hosted by Ray Romano. Grane also has directed several music videos, including "Invisible Sun," featuring Sting with Aswad; and "All Alone on Christmas," with Darlene Love and the E Street Band.
