Time Out is Robbie's second film, a dark comedic short about two hard-bitten kindergartners (portrayed by adult actors) sharing a "time out" on a remote corner of the school playground, delves into a world of anxiety, despair, revenge and cooties. Chafitz was honored to have his film selected into the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, win the New York Independent Film and Video Festival award for best comedy short. An edited version of Time Out currently runs on the Showtime Networks.
At the present, Chafitz is busy producing/assistant-directing national and international television commercials, writing comedy for stand-ups, developing a feature script with Taye Diggs and raising money for the production of his absurd comedy, Sometimes Life is Hard. Robbie lives in NYC and usually wears pants.
