Most recently Lubna Azabal starred in the 2006 Academy Award nominated film for Best Foreign Language Film, Paradise Now. In 2006 she also starred in the art house hit Changing Times with Catherine Deneuve and Gerrard Depardieu.
Lubna was recently named as one of European films' Shooting Stars by the European Film Commission. After making her screen debut in I Adore the Cinema in 1997, Lubna starred opposite Stéphane Rideau in André Techiné's drama Far. Recognized for her roles as a beautiful, sometimes exotic immigrant, Lubna plays a young Jewish woman working in the garment industry in Michel Deville's Almost Peaceful World and stars in the upcoming 25 Degrees in Winter and Exiles.
