Marian Macgowan

In 1986 Marian established CML Films Pty Ltd (renamed MacGowan Films in 2000), a facility for the local production of international commercials and documentaries for companies from the USA, UK and Europe. This work enabled Macgowan Films to cashflow the development of projects for film and television including Lilian's Story (with the support of the NSW Film and TV Office), starring Ruth Cracknell, Barry Otto and Toni Collette. In 1998 Marian produced the feature film Two Hand, starring Heath Ledger, Bryan Brown and Rose Byrne, written and directed by Gregor Jordan. Her other producing credits include Risk starring Bryan Brown, Claudia Karvan and Tom Long directed by Alan White.
