Imanol Uribe

Uribe was born in San Salvador in 1950 and moved to Spain to finish his Journalism studies.  Over his 25 year career, he has demonstrated a strong interest in the reality of Spanish society through films such as El Proceso de Burgos (1979), La Fuga de Segovia (1981), La Muerte de Mikel (1984), and Dias Contados (1994).  In 1991 Uribe won eight Goyas with his Film El Rey Pasmado.
