Arild Østin Ommundsen
Arild, who is from a bona fide blue-collar background, happened to become interested in filmmaking when Erik Andersson (editor) asked him to take part in his graduation film. Has studied directing at Stavanger University College. Made the shorts Hevnens demon, Hatari: UFO, Hjemsøkt, and Før Solen Står Opp. Won the Golden Chair at the Short Film Festival in Grimstad. He also won the junior national cross-country skiing championships in 1984.
