Murilo Benicio

Murilo Benicio made his North American film debut oposite Penelope Cruz in Woman on Top. He is one of Brazil's most popular young film and television stars, and has been featured in several South American motion pictures.

Most recently the actor has starred in director Sandra Werneck's Amores Possiveis, Chocolate com Pimenta, Sexo, Amor e Traição, Paid, the TV series América, and O Homem do Ano (The Man of the Year). He made his feature film debut in the 1995 historical drama O Monge e a Filha do Carrasco.
