Steven K. Tsuchida
With a degree in advertising and design from California State University, Long Beach, Steven moved to New York City and spent the next 5 years as an art director in the advertising industry.
Steven then move back to Los Angeles and earned an MFA in film from The Art Center, Pasadena. Upon graduating he signed with Oil Factory Inc.
Steven has gone on to direct commercials for clients as: Sprint, ESPN, PS2, Sprite, Budweiser, South West Airlines, Hyundai, Taco Bell, CBS Sports, PGA, SBC, Toyota and many more.
Steven?s short film, A Ninja Pays Half My Rent (2003) has gone on to play and win awards in over 40 festivals worldwide, including: Sundance, SXSW, New Directors/New Films at the Lincoln Center, The HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, The Aspen Shorts Festival, Edinburgh, and Deauville.
In 2003, Steven was included in Filmmaker Magazine article, "25 filmmakers to watch".
